deadline to submit recipes for cookbook project

The Fellowship Committee is compiling a cookbook  to be sold to benefit the organ restoration fund and are asking for 2 or 3 recipes from each family.  They would like to have recipes of dishes you have brought to Fellowship Dinners.  Also to be included are recipes from the Seder and Lenten dinners.  Please e-mail recipes to dbrscottky@aol.com or give your recipes to Doris Reed by June 18.  Let's make this project a success!

Gay Nineties Ice Cream Social & BBQ supper

Come join others in your church family for a BBQ super and ice cream social in the church Fellowship Hall.  We'll have an old fashioned sing-a-long and delicious meal.  If you want to really get in the spirit of the evening, you are encouraged to wear antique hats and gloves or other "gay nineties" apparel.  You may, of course, come dressed as yourself!!

Fellowship committee will provide BBQ, buns, drinks, desserts and toppings for ice cream.  YOU may bring salads, chips, or vegetables to complement the BBQ and ice cream.  Please call Sara Sutton at 863-4115 or the church office (863-3249) if you are bringing homemade ice cream.

Check the church bulletin or our website for more information.  Please sign up using the insert in the June 15 bulletin or call the church office.  We need a count of ones planning to attend in order to prepare enough (not too much) BBQ.  Thanks, and we'll see you on June 18.
