The mission of historic First Presbyterian Church is to empower the community to be Christ's disciples.

Sunday Church School begins at 9:45 AM for all ages.  There are 2 adult classes as well as classes for all ages of children.

A nursery is provided for children through pre-school age during Worship Services. Children are welcome to worship with their parents in the sanctuary and share in a time with the pastor.  A children's worship for 1st through 5th graders is held following the Children’s Message on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of every month.

Coffee/tea fellowship follows the morning service in the 2nd floor fellowship parlor.

First Presbyterian Church welcomes everyone to attend our worship services or to be involved in our ministry opportunities. 

We have an extensive music ministry including:  chancel choir, MAD (music and dance) Children, hand chime choir, dulcimer choir, and recorder choir.

We have an active prayer shawl ministry, ministers of compassion, a summer reading program (in the planning stages) and prayer warriors.

In addition, many of our members are active in supporting ministries in the community such as Habitat for Humanity, Amen House, and Meals on Wheels just to name a few.
