MISSION
Local Mission
Food Drive for the Amen House.  List of current needs is posted weekly in the worship bulletin.

Noisy Offering Change for the Amen House  Buckets are in Narthex for change collection EVERY Sunday.

Angle Tree    Needy families have ornaments hung on a Christmas Tree.  Congregational members choose an ornament off the tree and purchase a gift for that family member.

World Mission
Samaritan’s Purse delivers millions of gift-filled shoe boxes through Operation Christmas Child to children throughout the world.  These children have suffered because of war, natural disaster, poverty, illness or neglect.  Our congregation collects postage, and boxes filled with specific items for distribution.

One Great Hour of Sharing Our gifts support ministries of disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development that help people find safe refuge, start new lives, and work together to strengthen their families and communities.

The Presbyterian Hunger Program receives 36 percent of undesignated One Great Hour of Sharing gifts, while the Self-Development System and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance each receive 32 percent.

Christmas Joy Offering The Christmas Joy Offering is one of the four special offerings designated by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to provide congregations direct ways of supporting specific causes that help those in need.
Fifty percent of the receipts to the Christmas Joy Offering are distributed to the Board of Pensions for assistance programs that provide support to retired and active church workers and their spouses and families. The other fifty percent supports Presbyterian related racial ethnic education through the National Ministries Division of the General Assembly Council.
